Notic is a boutique digital agency based in Slovenia. You can contact us by email hello@notic.net. For questions regarding the protection of personal data, the same address is available (see also the »Contact« section).
What data we collect
We only collect the information we need to operate our services:
Contact details: name, surname, email address, phone number, company name and other details you provide in the forms.
Project information: a description of your business objectives, website, budget or enquiry details that you provide when you send us an enquiry.
Website usage data: IP address, cookie identifier, time of visit, pages visited and technical data about your device/browser. We collect this information through cookies and similar technologies (see section »Cookies«).
Marketing data: newsletter sign-up data, responses to campaigns, preferences on receiving marketing messages and consents.
Sensitive data: we do not collect sensitive personal data (biometric, financial, medical, etc.). Should we need such data, we will make this clear and obtain specific consent.
How we collect data
We are collecting data:
directly from you when you fill in a form on our site, order a service, sign up for our newsletter or contact us;
through cookies and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) that record your interactions on the website;
from publicly available sources or business platforms if you are looking for a contact for a business collaboration.
Purposes and legal basis for processing
We process data for the following reasons:
Responding to enquiries and making offers - legal basis: our legitimate interest and/or the conclusion of a contract.
Performance of the services and contractual obligations - legal basis: performance of the contract.
Sending newsletters and marketing messages - legal basis: your consent; you can opt-out at any time.
Website usage analysis and service improvement - legal basis: your consent to analytical cookies; we use the data to measure traffic, optimise content and improve user experience.
Targeted advertising and personalisation (e.g. remarketing via Google or social networks) - legal basis: your consent; we segment users in such a way that we do not make decisions that would have legal or similar consequences for the individual.
Categories of recipients and transfer to third countries
We may disclose your information to third parties where necessary for the purposes set out above:
hosting and website maintenance providers,
providers of email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp) or CRM,
analytics and advertising service providers (e.g. Google LLC),
to public authorities where required by law.
Some providers (e.g. Google) may be located in third countries (the U.S.). In such cases, we carry out the transfer on the basis of standard contractual clauses and other safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection.
Data storage
We only keep data for as long as is necessary to fulfil our purpose:
data provided via forms: up to one year after the end of the communication, unless you have since become our customer (in which case up to the completion of the contract and a further 5 years for evidential purposes);
data on orders and contracts: 10 years from completion, in accordance with legislation;
marketing consent and newsletter subscription data: until the consent is withdrawn or up to 3 years after the last interaction;
analytics data: 14 months (default Google Analytics timeframe), unless otherwise specified;
cookies: until the expiry date specified in the »Cookies« section.
When the retention period expires, the data will be deleted or anonymised.

Right to object - where processing is based on legitimate interest or used for direct marketing, you can object.
Right to portability - you can request that we provide you with your data in a structured, machine-readable format or transfer it to another controller.
Right to withdraw consent - where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing before withdrawal.
Right to complain - if you believe that your rights have been violated, you can complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
