In today's unstable times, farmers need a reliable partner for their farm machinery more than ever. Lagerhof is well established as a supplier of agricultural machinery both in Slovenia and on foreign markets, offering quality machinery for small and large farmers. Lagerhof is also successfully building its own brand of Hofman machinery and represents renowned Slovenian and Korean manufacturers.

We used social media to introduce Lagerhof to the end customer on a more personal level

At the start of their cooperation, Lagerhof had already established itself as a reliable dealer with excellent agricultural machinery. However, they were not well known across the country and their digital presence was not a good match for their growing market position. Through online channels, we identified a great opportunity to showcase their personal approach to customers, which really sets them apart from the competition in the agricultural machinery market.

After a thorough digital analysis, we rolled up our sleeves and carried out a complete digital transformation. We completely overhauled their social media presence with tailored content that specifically addresses the needs of smaller farmers in need of excellent but affordable agricultural machinery.

By creating engaging photo and video content that highlighted the company's story, satisfied customers and the performance of the different departments, we presented the human side of Lagerhof to the customer. Our performance advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google were designed to generate quality leads from potential customers for both LS tractors and Lagerhof's own Hofman brand. Successful online campaigns have resulted in increased trust, wider brand awareness and increased sales of the entire product line.

The results of our collaboration with Lagerhof confirm that a targeted and strategically designed digital presence can have a powerful impact on visibility, trust and sales. The campaigns achieved all the objectives - we increased the trust of the target audience, successfully presented the company's story through authentic photo and video content.

We have helped Lagerhof build an extremely strong social media presence. We increased our followers by 3.7 times, reached 1 million users on various online channels, drove more than 500,000 users to the website and generated more than 2 million video views.

Through lead generation campaigns, we have ensured a steady flow of qualified enquiries for our entire sales programme - both for new machinery and used agricultural machinery. The results are also reflected in concrete sales growth for the company. On Facebook and other channels within Meta, we set up a comprehensive paid advertising system for Lagerhof with two key objectives - to increase the company's visibility at regional and national level, and at the same time to increase the number of enquiries for new and used agricultural machinery.

We started our advertising strategy with strong regional targeting - we presented the company's story to potential customers through authentic video and photo content, showing the staff, the day-to-day running of the company and the friendly staff who will be there to greet them when they visit.

Instead of general targeting, we focused on extremely precise audience segmentation, capturing potential buyers with a clear interest in agricultural machinery. The campaigns implemented significantly increased brand awareness across the country, while the lead generation campaigns resulted in a measurable increase in enquiries for all product lines.

Fair support

We also used Facebook advertising to support trade fair activities - with advance announcements, addresses from vendors and the CEO during the fair and a thank you after the event, we created an additional wave of visibility with our content even after the fair was over.

As the company's initial organic presence was low, we used advertising to further boost the reach of the posts and, over time, significantly increased the number of followers and, as a result, improved their organic performance.

Google advertising to increase enquiries and strengthen your personalised approach

With carefully designed Google advertising, we have comprehensively covered all stages of the buying process for potential Lagerhof customers. With Search ads, we captured all the traffic of users who were actively searching for agricultural machinery on the web. These highly motivated potential customers were redirected with relevant ads to either the auto.net page of the store or to Lagerhof's new agricultural machinery website.

In parallel to the Search ads, we developed a thoughtful Google Display campaign, where we used creative HTML5 display ads to further reinforce Lagerhof's personal approach and showcase their unique story. With display ads, we achieved an impressive 16 million impressions to target segments while they consumed content on different websites.

This combination of search and display strategy allowed us to cover both the “pull” and “push” approach with our advertising - we reached those who were actively searching, while building awareness and visibility with potential customers who were not yet in the active purchase phase. Google advertising thus proved to be a key part of an integrated digital strategy that enabled Lagerhof to generate a consistent flow of qualified enquiries and significant sales growth in a competitive agricultural machinery environment.

We knew that the key to success lay in presenting the authentic face of the company, so we carried out a series of shoots that put the real people behind the brand front and centre.

By producing unique photo and video content for Lagerhof, we have consciously gone beyond the usual presentation of agricultural machinery. While competitors mostly only show technical specifications and machines in ideal conditions, we rolled up our sleeves and created content that tells a complete story.

We put ourselves in the shoes of small and large farmers, our target customers, and let them really get to know the heart of the company through our content. Every Lagerhof employee was given the opportunity to showcase their work and the passion with which they approach solving customer challenges - from experienced service technicians to sales consultants and logisticians.

Instead of generic product photos, we captured genuine moments of satisfaction at the handover of new machines, real working conditions on the ground and stories of farmers who have improved their business with the help of Lagerhof machinery.

It was this authenticity and humanisation of the brand that stood out in the flood of technically oriented communication in the industry and created a strong emotional connection with the target audience. We also paid special attention to showcasing the unique story of CEO Nejc Šuc, who has created a growing business out of his passion for agriculture and the accordion - a story that many small farmers can identify with and see as a reliable partner for their needs.
